Design starts before printing
A label is the one moment your product speaks quietly on the shelf. Our design team at D-Art Etiket prepares brand-consistent graphic design, scalable variable design templates for product families, and prepress files that transfer to print without friction. Whether we optimize your existing design or design from scratch together, you work with a single team throughout.
The four seconds on the shelf are won in design
A customer scans dozens of products on a shelf in a few seconds on average. What catches attention in that short window is well-used color, a clear typographic hierarchy, and a brand told in a consistent visual language. Weak label design can make even a quality product invisible on the shelf. That's why we treat label design not as a "final step" but as the most strategic part of the production process.
Our design team works with production in mind, not just aesthetics: a design that's compatible with your chosen material, printing method and effects (foil, UV coating, embossing) prevents surprises at the printing stage.
From concept to print-ready file
Corporate Label Design
We create distinctive label design aligned with your brand identity that stands out on the shelf. We determine logo usage, color palette and typography together based on your brand's positioning in the market, and every design is built to stay consistent across different packaging sizes.
Variable Design Systems
We build variable design systems that let you generate labels for different product variants (size, flavor, volume, color) from a single master template. When you need to add a new variant, it's derived quickly from the existing system instead of being designed from scratch.
Variable Data Integration
We place variable data fields — serial numbers, lots, dates, QR codes — into the design in a way that's fully compatible with the printing process. This integration reduces barcode errors during production to zero.
Prepress Preparation
We handle vector file editing, color separation, Pantone matching and die-line compatible design preparation. Whatever format your file is in, we make it print-ready without friction.
Packaging & Product Line Design
We prepare packaging and label design packages that build a consistent visual language across your entire product line, designing brand-consistent extensions for new product launches.
Revision & Consultancy
We review your existing design to improve print quality, offering concrete recommendations on color, contrast, material compatibility and regulatory requirements — especially for food and cosmetic labels.
How a design order progresses
Discovery Call
We discuss your brand, target audience and product family structure (how many variants, which materials).
Concept & Moodboard
We present 2-3 concept directions for color palette, typography and overall visual direction.
Design Development
We refine the chosen concept at real product dimensions and material; if variable design is needed, we build the template system.
Prepress & Sample
We prepare the print-ready file and produce a physical sample using your chosen printing method.
Approval & Mass Production
Once the sample is approved, the design file moves to the production line for the full print run.
One template, multiple product variants
Variable design means deriving a full set of labels automatically from a single design template for the different SKUs in a product family — different flavors, volumes or colors, for example. This speeds up the design process and guarantees visual consistency across the brand.
Combined with variable data, fields such as barcodes, serial numbers and QR codes are also placed correctly and automatically. For example, in a food product line with 12 different SKUs, all 12 labels can be produced from a single master design — each with the correct product name, barcode and ingredient information. This reduces error risk and cuts the process of adding a new variant from days to hours.
From Türkiye to the world: export-ready label design
At D-Art Etiket we serve not only the domestic Turkish market but also manufacturers exporting worldwide, offering professional label design and printing for both. For domestic label design, we build solutions aligned with Turkish market expectations, consumer habits and local regulation; for international label design requests, we run a dedicated design process tailored to the target market's language, packaging standards and visual expectations. Whether you're designing a product label for a retail chain in Istanbul or need multilingual label design for a food brand exporting to Europe, you get the same studio and the same production line.
Export label design requires accurately translating the product name, ingredient list and legal warnings into the target country's official language or English, and building a design that complies with that market's labeling regulations — EU food labeling directives, packaging size standards, barcode formats, and more. When producing multilingual label design, we manage different language versions of the same product through our variable design system, so instead of designing from scratch for every market, you get a consistent label family derived from a single brand identity.
For private label manufacturers, exporters and SMEs looking to expand into international markets, we offer an end-to-end design and production partnership — from corporate identity design to packaging design, from label design to barcode and variable data integration. Our graphic design team also handles core identity elements like brand identity design and logo design consistently with your label design, so your brand speaks the same visual language at home and abroad.
